Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact details can be found in the section “Controller”.
How do we collect your data?
Some data is collected when you provide it to us, for example via the contact form. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. web browser, operating system or time of the page request).
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure the website is provided without errors. Other data is used exclusively in anonymised form for visitor statistics. We process data from enquiries to handle your request and, where applicable, to prepare a contract.

You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of this data. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. You can contact us at any time about this and any other questions regarding data protection.

3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Framer B.V., Rozengracht 207B, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster’s servers. This may include, in particular, IP addresses, contact requests, metadata and communication data, website access data and other data generated via a website.
Hosting is carried out for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hoster processes your data only to the extent necessary to fulfil its service obligations and follows our instructions with regard to this data.
The domain foodfwd.de is managed via GoDaddy Deutschland GmbH, Gertrudenstr. 30–36, 50667 Cologne, Germany.
Data processing agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Framer. This agreement, required under data protection law, ensures that the personal data of our website visitors is processed only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
4. General information and mandatory information
Data protection
We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may be subject to security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for erasure or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing it (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion takes place once these reasons no longer apply.
Legal bases for processing
If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or to access to information on your device, processing is additionally based on § 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). Consent can be withdrawn at any time. If your data is required to perform a contract or to take pre-contractual steps, we process it on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. To comply with a legal obligation, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Processing may also be based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The sections below explain which legal basis applies in each case.
Recipients of personal data
We only pass on personal data to external parties if this is necessary to perform a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. disclosure to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the disclosure. When using processors, we only pass on personal data on the basis of a valid data processing agreement.
Withdrawal of your consent
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
If data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right at any time to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. If you object, we will no longer process the personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR). If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to processing for such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of infringements of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority competent for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany. This right is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done where technically feasible.
Access, rectification and erasure
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, in particular if you contest the accuracy of the data, if the processing is unlawful, if we no longer need the data but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or if you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR and the balancing of interests has not yet been completed. Apart from being stored, restricted data may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, for the protection of the rights of another person or for reasons of important public interest.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to us, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address line of your browser starting with “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
5. Data collection on this website
Server log files
The hoster automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of our website.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact details you provide, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The form data is transmitted via the form function of our hoster Framer. We do not pass on this data without your consent. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to take pre-contractual steps. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose for storing it no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Enquiries by email
If you contact us by email, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to take pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose for storing it no longer applies. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
6. Analytics
Framer Analytics
This website uses the built-in statistics function of our hoster Framer B.V. No cookies are set and no persistent identifiers are created. To count unique visits, the IP address and browser identifier are hashed with a key that changes daily; this key is deleted every day. Only anonymised, aggregated data such as page views and referring pages is evaluated; it is not possible to identify individual persons. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the statistical analysis and improvement of our website. Processing takes place under the data processing agreement concluded with Framer.
7. Plugins and tools
Google Fonts
For the uniform display of fonts, this site uses Google Fonts provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you open a page, your browser loads the required fonts into its cache. For this purpose, your browser must connect to Google’s servers. As a result, Google learns that this website was accessed via your IP address. Google Fonts is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; we have a legitimate interest in the uniform presentation of the typeface on our website. Further information can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
